Bike Maintenance Classes

Cherry Capital Cycling Club’s Spring 2022 Bike Maintenance Class series begins April 21. Chris Remy will be the instructor. Formerly a mechanic at McLain Bike Shop; Chris has taught bike maintenance classes at NMC. Previous attendees were engaged and asked a lot of good questions. Judging by the responses of those in attendance the classes were a success.

“He clearly knew a lot about bikes and could identify age and specific issues from bike to bike. I liked his manner: comfortable, confident and relaxed.”

“Chris did an excellent job. I found his presentation style very enjoyable and understandable (even with a mask!). He certainly has a mastery of bike mechanics…Very good session and I look forward to the next.”

“I thought Chris did a great job. He spoke clearly, demonstrated well and encouraged us to look at various parts.”

Classes will be held Thursday evenings, 6:00 PM, at Recycle-A-Bicycle, 1220 Woodmere (see map below). Class-size is limited to insure a quality experience. So register early as attendance is on a first come basis.
