About this event
This is a great intro to touring ride at a fantastic location. Barnes Park in Eastport is 33 miles from the Williamsburg Meijer. The plan is to have a leisurely ride to Barnes Park on Friday, tool around on Saturday and return Sunday. Or you can drive up Friday after work.
Barnes Park has tent and RV campsites, some electric sites, a nice beach, showers, and water. There’s also a decent market within a mile. Online registration opened 4/14. Camping fees are as follows: Tent sites $30/night for a single tent. Additional tents are $22/night. Each campsite can handle 3 tents comfortably. Two sites have been reserved. Please email me and let me know if you need a tentsite. Tent fees will be split.
RV sites, capable of handling 60' vehicles, with electric, are $44.33/night. If you have an RV or trailer, make a reservation directly with Barnes Park at https://www.campspot.com/book/barnesparkcampground
Given the popularity of Barnes Park, reservations will fill up quickly.
