Join me in kicking winter in the keister! Supposed to be in the upper 40's late morning, warming til nearly 60 deg. This ride is a simple loop from downtown Elk Rapids to the Torch River bridge and back. A minor variation on the 26 mile RAT loop (see RwGPS link for route). Should take no more than 2 hrs. We'll stop at the Torch River boat launch, but not sure if the restroom there is open for use yet (so don't drink too much coffee prior to the ride)...
Meet up off of Cedar St in the public parking area (right across from the public restrooms, which ALSO may not be unlocked for the season yet!) at 11am. Should be finished by 1...
Call this a "B" ride, mostly because most of us won't be in summer shape yet. No Drop. Roughly a 14-15 mph pace. Dress warm with the ability to shed a layer.
