I was able to dry run this route last week - it's everything I had hoped for and more! Gravel roads, a bit of connecting pavement stretches, some two track, singletrack, and a bit of sand (on North River Rd). MTB or gravel bike, this will be a bit challenging. Took me a little over 3 hrs, with only a couple of short missed turns.
After the forecast rainy weekend the trails & roads ought to be packed down and fast. There's a chance we'll encounter a few puddles and muddy patches, so be prepared.
Of course, extra water and a snack or two is highly recommended. No Drop - to ensure everyone comes back alive!
