About this event
Old Mission Peninsula ride out along East Bay and return along West Bay. Ride leaves promptly at 6:00pm
Beware of high traffic areas and please ride single file in these areas. Especially Center Rd along East Bay and Peninsula Dr along West Bay south of Bowers Harbor.
Also be aware of, and observe club protocols relative to Covid 19:
1. Stay home if you exhibit any symptoms of illness.
2. Keep a minimum of 20’ between you and other cyclists when moving (i.e. 3 to 4 bike lengths), and a minimum of 6’ when stopped. Leave places where you cannot maintain the 20’ and 6’ separation distances outlined above. Note: these minimum distances are not required for family members from the same household.
3. Carry water, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes to further protect yourself.
4. Carry a face mask and use it when going into a store or other public setting.
5. No spitting or “snot rockets” when cycling. Carry a handkerchief and cover your mouth/nose when coughing or sneezing.
6. Lastly, it is recommended that the intensity level be “dialed back”. Reducing exertion level reduces the risk of transmission.
7. Cyclists not abiding by the new protocols will not be allowed on Club rides under this interim policy.
