Ride travels along the East Bay to the lighthouse. The return trip is made along the West Bay. Shorter options are available by cutting across the peninsula on Gray Rd., Blue Water Rd., Ladd Rd., or Old Mission Rd.
As the groups can become quite large during the summer months, the start of each group will be staggered.
“A” group = Riders understand and practice proper group riding etiquette and are comfortable riding in a group at an above average pace. Hand signals, verbal car/hazard warnings, proper passing techniques, etc. are strictly adhered too. Riders know the route and are capable of riding alone if dropped by the group.
“B” group = Riders have knowledge of group riding etiquette and are comfortable riding in a group at an average/recreational pace. Hand signals, verbal car/hazard warnings, proper passing techniques, etc. are routinely used. Riders are familiar with the route and are comfortable with riding alone if dropped by the group.
“C” group = Group consists of casual pace riders, riders uncomfortable with riding in a group, riders that are not familiar with the route, riders looking to learn proper group riding etiquette, or riders that are not comfortable with being dropped by the group.
Not all rides will have an A, B, and C group. Groups depend on the number of riders and their ability levels.
Ride will be cancelled in inclement weather. Please check the website calendar for cancellations.
